Vice President

I have been a registered radiologic technologist since 2000, when I graduated from VCU with a B.S. in Radiation Sciences. I have worked in many different scopes of imaging practice, from level 1 trauma center to outpatient medical office.

Currently, I work as full-time faculty at Northern Virginia Community College in the Radiography, CT, MRI, Sonography, and Radiation Therapy programs. My specialty is teaching cross-sectional anatomy with the use of Cadaver Lab. I am currently programming an electronic clinical database for our 18 clinical facilities.

I also work PRN as a dual x-ray/CT technologist at the Inova Emergency Care Centers of Fairfax and Reston.

I am also an American Heart Association BLS and First Aid instructor. Last year, I had the honor of representing the VSRT at RT in DC, along with Mary Loritsch and Lorie Kappeler.

I have a wonderful husband, Robert, and two very energetic children, Xander and Olivia.

I look forward to helping make the VSRT an educational, interactive, and progressive organization!
